This is the Megadeth I want to hear - sounds like adding Broderick has really upped the ante from the last few records.

This is alright, but honestly, even Countdown to Extinction still tops Dave's "return to form" albums. Might have been their breakthrough commercial release, but the songwriting was good and the riffs were sick.

i knew this was about cars/racing before i even heard the song.
This album is going to be great. I haven't looked forward to a CD like this in a while!
However, I think Megadeth 'returned to form' several albums ago, and no one was really paying attention. There is really no deviation on this new record from what Dave started writing after he kicked out Ellefson and recorded 'The System Has Failed'. Granted, there was room for improvement/filler, but it's pretty obvious he was trying to get back to his thrash roots even then.
