FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Ravage, the melodic heavy metal band hailing from Boston Massachusetts USA has begun recording their debut album which will be entitled "Spectral Rider", and will include at least 10 newly recorded tracks as well as some possible bonus material from the band's critically acclaimed and highly successful "Curse Of Heaven" demo which was released last year. The album will most likely be released in the early summer of 2004. The band hopes "Spectral Rider" will provide a non-stop, full-metal, experience for fans. The songs on the album weave elements of 90's European Power Metal, late 80's American Thrash Metal, and early 80's NWOBHM to form a unique, powerful, and memorable sound without compromising to current trends.

Label and release date details will be forthcomming.

The probably track listing for "Spectral Rider" (in no particular order) is as follows...

1. Spectral Rider
2. Turn The Screw
3. Masque Of Black Death
4. Captive Of Sin
5. Wake The Dead
6. The Wicked Way
7. Wyvern
8. The Wasteland
9. Ravage Part 1: Damage
10. Bring Down The Hellhammer
11. The King Forgotten
12. Curse Of Heaven (bonus track from the "Curse Of Heaven" demo)

Fans may recognize a number of the titles from live bootlegs and early demos that have circulated the underground metal scene for a number of years. 3 of the songs, "The Wasteland", "The King Forgotten" and "The Wicked Way" appeared on the 2003 "Curse Of Heaven" demo but each will be fully rerecorded for the "Spectral Rider" CD. Artist Sara Stryjewski has been commissioned to complete
the cover art for the project.
