exactly. helmets give the illusion of more safety than they actually provide.

however, they should keep helmets in hockey. we don't want another teddy green incident.

I heard they were introducing some new helmets that are designed to prevent concussions. As it stands helmets are better used as a weapon then as protection. And I don't just mean in the Brandon Merriweather sense.
