fuck that faggot

toggletoggle post by FuckIsMySignature at Mar 23,2009 12:41pm
he may have a loud mouth but the guy deserves some respect for what he did for the sox.

toggletoggle post by xmikex at Mar 23,2009 12:42pm
Absolutely respect.

But I'm really glad that guy is done playing baseball.

toggletoggle post by FuckIsMySignature at Mar 23,2009 12:43pm
i do agree with that.

toggletoggle post by Yeti at Mar 23,2009 12:43pm
good idea to bow out gracefully. he was teetering on becoming the Slayer of baseball.

toggletoggle post by xmikex at Mar 23,2009 12:50pm
The bowing out gracefully ship sailed a couple years ago.

He's been walking the fine line between obnoxiousness and Brett Favre.

toggletoggle post by Yeti at Mar 23,2009 12:51pm
haha fair enough.

so he should have bowed out before helping us win the 2007 world series?

No, but he should have retired immediately afterward. Instead he forced the Sox administration to squander months worth of arbitration time to get him signed to a 1 year deal that everybody under the sun knew he couldn't handle.

toggletoggle post by FuckIsMySignature at Mar 23,2009 1:06pm
true... but after you win a series like that its hard to not consider coming back for one more go round.

toggletoggle post by xmikex at Mar 23,2009 1:27pm
Like I said, I love the dude, but he knew he was done this time last year.

toggletoggle post by xmikex at Mar 23,2009 1:30pm
Now in an update on an actually exciting sport...

The Pats and Bills might be playing the Monday night football opener.... in throwback jerseys.

toggletoggle post by brian_dc  at Mar 23,2009 1:31pm
and...that's........exciting?

FUCK THE FLYING ELVIS

PAT THE PATRIOT FTW

toggletoggle post by tylor  at Mar 23,2009 2:22pm
the two best throwback jerseys ever! i cant wait til how this is gonna hyped up by kornheiser as TOM BRADY IS A QUESTION MARK THE DOLPHINS ARE A PLAYOFF TEAM AGAIN AND THE BILLS HAVE T.O. IT'S ANYONE'S DIVISION!!!! and then the pats win the afc east by at least 3 games

toggletoggle post by Dankill at Mar 23,2009 2:44pm
I'm all about the opener with throwbacks. The only thing better then that would be if they played a Thanksgiving game wearing throwback jerseys.

As for Schill, I knew this was coming. After how he totally lost out on last season, I couldn't see him coming back at his age. He was getting close to Breet Farve status if he tried this year and just imploded.
You had a hell of a career, Curt. Now go make us some videogames.

now if only schilling would retire from talking on the radio

AMEN

toggletoggle post by dreadkill  at Mar 23,2009 3:00pm
if anything, retiring from baseball gives him more time to talk on the radio and write his annoying blog.

toggletoggle post by RustyPS NLI at Mar 23,2009 3:01pm
if you don't like him, why read his blog?

toggletoggle post by dreadkill  at Mar 23,2009 3:06pm
i don't read his blog, although sometimes shit from his blog gets copied and pasted in news stories on other sites.

it's not that i don't like him. i loved having him pitch for the sox and will always respect his contributions to the world series teams. i just find him obnoxious in the way he goes about expressing his opinions in the media.

toggletoggle post by boblovesmusic   at Mar 23,2009 3:07pm
more like Curt Finishing amirite?

that's cool

I don't understand the people who bitch about him speaking his mind though.....its not like everyone is forced to listen to/read him

toggletoggle post by brian_dc  at Mar 23,2009 3:22pm
he just seems like the kind of guy who punches his wife and then chokes her later because his hand hurts.

toggletoggle post by RustyPS NLI at Mar 23,2009 3:24pm
nah, not to me anyway

You just described Barry Bonds. Schill is a good guy who just has diarrhea of the mouth.

toggletoggle post by dreadkill  at Mar 23,2009 4:05pm

Schilling revealed the end of his 20-year Major League career via his blog, 38pitches.weei.com.

What are you a fucking loser? via blog? Then divorced his wife through text...

toggletoggle post by MillenialKingdom  at Mar 23,2009 10:29pm
I have to respect the winningest pitcher in post-season history.

BLOODY SOCK 04!!!

toggletoggle post by tylor  at Mar 23,2009 11:52pm
yeah for real, without schilling the sox would probably be looking at a 91 year drought right now
