FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Cattle Decapitation “The Harvest Floor” full album stream on Buzzgrinder.com!
http://www.buzzgrinder.com/cattledecap
Cattle Decapitation’s new album, The Harvest Floor, will be streaming in its entirety exclusively on buzzgrinder.com starting this Friday and ending on Monday. Besides just being able to hear each song in their full, grinding glory, you can read a song by song breakdown by vocalist Travis Ryan. The lyrics on The Harvest Floor are some of his most twisted yet and the explanations should provide some insight on the inspiration for the lyrics.

The Harvest Floor will be available everywhere on January 20th.

“This record is one of - if not THE - proudest piece of work in my career. For such a complex album, things came together nearly perfectly.” - producer Billy Anderson (Melvins, Mr. Bungle, Neurosis, High on Fire, Eyehategod)

“It’s a requiem in the slaughterhouse. Guts swamp the floor and Cattle Decapitation are bursting at the seams.” Decibel Magazine 8/10

“…their music technical enough to cream the pants of those so inclined but steering clear of the monotony trap too many bands are falling into recently.”
“one brutal and affecting package.” Outburn Magazine 9/10

“…one of the most underrated and best grind acts out there.” Hails & Horns

“…one of the best death metal/grindcore albums of the year.” BringOnMixedReviews.com

“The masters of gore-infused death metal are back and better than ever.” ThrashMag.com

In other Cattle Decap news…
Cattle Decapitation wrap up “Regret & the Grave” video shoot!

We would like to thank everyone that showed up for our video shoot on Sunday for the song “Regret & the Grave” which appears on our new album The Harvest Floor! We managed to pull off some serious guerilla style filming right in the middle of a busy park with frightening “shock troopers” walking and pacing around in full regalia and the volunteers helped offset that with their “normal” and toned down looks. We really appreciate all the hard work and waiting around you guys did!!! Special thanks to the main actors Carey Rainey and Christine Simko for putting in the extra hours… THANK YOU!!!

The video should be ready for viewing within a couple weeks, just a couple more scenes to shoot and we’re DONE! It’s going to quite a disturbing piece of footage to say the least.

Check out some stills from Sunday’s shoot:

Into the Public Bath: Another funny everyday thing that disturbs me is bath water and the idea of public pools. That’s just fucking gross.

funny cause he always has a purrel on stage and then spews liquids like a volcano.

Lips And Assholes

There are corners of this world that should not be explored
There are needles hidden in the candy
It all starts with a life
Transformed by a knife
Into food not fit for dogs

Ignorance is death
And in this life you've been victimized
Your American mind
Materialized

We get what we want when we want it.

Consumer's head becomes trash receptable
Cycle of human spawned hell defecating back into its face

You're as unclean as the meat in your bowels
Picked up off the floor and brushed off to find a home
in your intestinal tract

All your life you never knew what went into the meat
As good as any roadkill you'll find in the street
They made that shit from discarded bits of snouts and lips
Rat feces swept from the rafters now food in the hereafter

Ah your ignorance astounds me
No rhyme. No reason. No boundary to how insane we have become

The juice off the floor becomes an additive
A waste bin of gore thrown in for shits and giggles
Helpless heap at the mercy of some freak
Some fuck in charge of decontaminating the meat
Who wipes his ass without washing his hands, your must
understand that everyday you ingest some sort of disease

You did not kill it.
You did not clean it.
You'd probably fuck it if you couldn't eat it
Sick, Depraved everyday human.
Stupid consumer with faith in humanity
Led without a fight straight to the grave.

Birth. Agony. Death.
Defiled. Processed. Packaged.
Scanned. Purchased. Prepared.
Eaten. Digested. Feces.

I enjoy this band very much so and look forward to seeing them at Maryland death fest.

i never got into these guys. i had To Serve Man but it did nothing for me, as with the following releases.

toggletoggle post by immortal13 at Jan 16,2009 12:51pm
I haven't heard that one, I have Humanure and Karma Bloody Karma and I love them both. Plus I played with them at Mark's waaaaay back in the day before KBK even came out, then hung out with them again a few months later when they were on tour with Misery Index and FASSW.

i got a leak of this, and DLed it to my work computer, now i can't find the leak again.

i enjoy this band and the new record, now where's my cookie.

toggletoggle post by ZJD   at Jan 16,2009 6:37pm
to serve man is my favorite. the albums up to and including humanure had a vibe i loved that i found missing on KBK and it seems to be more present on this, but I don't like it quite as much. I think this album sounds like modern DM in a way that those prior do not and thats sort of a bummer for me. still listening though.

toggletoggle post by ZJD   at Jan 16,2009 6:37pm
dude sounds slightly less like a demon dinosaur, too, but i still enjoy the vocals.

toggletoggle post by ZJD   at Jan 16,2009 6:41pm
ok i think i'm on song 3 and it rules.

toggletoggle post by DomesticTerror at Jan 16,2009 8:26pm
this band is nothing short of amazing. lyrically i didn't care too much until KBK.

toggletoggle post by ouchdrummer   at Jan 23,2009 7:07pm
wow.... haven't stopped listening since i got it home. Some of the best all around vocals ever.

toggletoggle post by ouchdrummer   at Jan 23,2009 7:34pm
and yeah.... he's about the most versital vocalist that's signing now.

toggletoggle post by ouchdrummer   at Jan 23,2009 7:35pm
SOOOO FUCKING SICK!

toggletoggle post by /ilovechamaine at Jan 26,2009 2:22pm
Cattle Decapitation's new cd is so fucking good, along with a lot of their old shit. I had to download it right when it leaked so I could listen and i'm pretty happy that I did. Once it's out, i'll be buying it, forsureeee.

toggletoggle post by W3 nli at Jan 26,2009 2:33pm
