I figured a few people here might be interested in checking out some photos of my recent trip to Hong Kong to visit Tim (parasitic extirpation). We (along with his wifey) took a mini-trip to a couple of cities in Cambodia and Vietnam. Was an excellent time, I particularly enjoyed our short time in Cambodia, I'd definitely be into going back to explore more.

I want that hooker. Love me long time?

toggletoggle post by Martins   at Jan 8,2009 7:03pm
Those pictures rule. Those long exposure pictures...is that anything like HDR? My had has been trying to take HDR pictures but I don't think he has any idea what he's doing.

Phenominal, phenominal pics Tom...really.

However, I hope you tried a prostitute there. They can fuck like nothing else and can do shit with their pussy that American chicks can only dream about. Asians (actually from Asia) is simply the BEST pussy in the world.

Are they touched up? The color is unreal....

Honestly some of the best photography I've seen in some time.

toggletoggle post by dftg at Jan 8,2009 8:03pm
how do you make your pictures look so sharp?

toggletoggle post by MarkFuckingRichards  at Jan 8,2009 8:11pm
Some of the Cambodia pics are fucking unreal; they almost look like paintings.

And that girl (or possible dude you say?) has fucking AAAASSSSSSSSSSS.

toggletoggle post by deathchick   at Jan 8,2009 8:22pm
Awesome pictures Tom. The Cambodian ones look to crazy to be real, they look more like movie sets. Love the long exposures.

Wow, that's awesome man.

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Jan 8,2009 10:25pm

wow those pictures look awesome.

toggletoggle post by IllinoisEnemaBradness at Jan 8,2009 10:56pm
you=talented. Great shots. Why is your friend there?

toggletoggle post by porphyria at Jan 9,2009 3:48pm
Thanks alot everyone! A few of the images are blending of exposures more than hdr. In Cambodia especially I found myself shooting directly into the sun quite often, so bracketing was my only choice and had to do it without a tripod. The tone mapping and blended exposures give some images the look of a painting.
Tim has been in hong kong with his wife due to her work, he'll be coming back in a couple weeks though!

I'd also like to dedicate all of these photos to my father who just passed away from unnatural causes. I knew he was proud of me but wish he couldve seen these.

Tim is with his wife in hong kong for her work.

I'd also like to dedicate all of these photographs to my father who died of unnatural causes yesterday. I know he was proud of me before but I wish he could have seen these. j

did you happen to go to myanmar (burma)? must be somewhat hard to go into that country.. but there's some ridiculous landscapes with ancient pagodas as far as you can see.

toggletoggle post by josh_hates_you  at Jan 9,2009 4:27pm
so jealous of that trip.

"Don't forget to pack your wife"

Awesome pictures Thomas -- some of those really are National Geo-quality shots. The shots of the ruins in Cambodia are EPIC.

didn't go to burma but I'm pretty sure you can go there if you want to...but you might feel pretty isolated there.

"After a long period of isolation, Burma has started to encourage tourism. Foreigners can expect to pay several times more than locals do for accommodations, domestic airfares, and entry to tourist sites. Tourist facilities in Rangoon, Bagan, Ngapali Beach, Inle Lake, and Mandalay are superior to tourist facilities in other parts of the country, where they are limited. Please note that visitors should travel with sufficient cash to cover their expenses for the duration of their visit. Traveler’s checks and credit cards are not accepted anywhere, and ATM machines are nonexistent in Burma. (See "Currency" and “U.S. Treasury Sanctions" below.) Read the Department of State's Background Notes on Burma for additional information."

Some things never change with Tom Couture. haha.

Tom, any chance you'd be interested in selling prints of some of those... obviously not of that girls ass, but the others.

toggletoggle post by porphyria at Jan 29,2009 3:50pm
haha thanks Mike!

I'm definitely interested in selling prints. Let me know if you decide on anything.
