I was just told that Cheez, former bassist for Groinoids, Kilslug, and Upsidedown Cross, is dead. Apparantly he died over a year ago, but he's been out of the scene so noone knew. I used to hang out with Cheez quite often so I'm a little bummed.

Yeah, i guess it was last September. Apparently he was dead in his apartment for two weeks before his brother found him. Fucking bullshit.

Oh, I was in jail then I thnk. No wonder I didn't hear about it. Do you know cause of death? I know he got cleaned up for a while. Did he have a relapse? Or did his body just give up after years of abuse?

I wonder if he offed himself. He used to talk about that all the time. He once told me that if he ever od'd with me, I was not to revive him and just leave.
It never came to that fortunately.
