New site? Maybe some day.
Anyone else catch this? It's been on TV for a week or two now on the NG channel. Really interesting stuff.
The best part was when they bring you in a place in Canada where a guy goes some bomb plants.
The way they ended the documentary, it seemed to me that it had a pro-marijuana message. |
I love that channel! I watch that channel more than anything |
Great channel. Reminds me of what the Discovery Channel USED to be, before it was all about reality TV shows.
History Channel, NG Channel, Science Channel, and Something Weird are some of the best channels |
whoa i'm gonna have to check this out |
Lisa Ling covered it. I never really liked her, but she definitely just got more cool in my book.
There's a close-up scene of someone smoking a joint, and it's obviously her. You can tell by the hair / mouth. |
They failed to mention much about hemp and its possibilites. It was 95% covering the effects of THC and the process of growing plants. |
did they mention that marijuana smoke/tar is not carcinogenic? Because that's the myth that pisses me off the most. |
i think the end of the show said something like "So if someone were to come up to you and put a pile of seeds in your hand, and said 'this plant will make rope, cloth, food, building materials, it will intoxicate, and will soothe the ill,' what would you do?" |
yes, that was the ending. they definitely put more focus into the positives than the "negatives." |
Saw this a few nights ago. Dug it. |
saw this when it first aired. they had like a trilogy of drug shows. first was pot, then heroin, then my all time favorite, meth. Man...meth heads are hilarious. |
I don't want another cent of my taxes to go toward drug prohibition or welfare. It's easy as fuck to succeed in this world, and anyone who can't is either an idiot or lazy, so let them die. People suck and we don't need more leechy ones. |
Missed this -- must catch it sometime.
The only thing I hate about the National Geographic Channel is that they shortened the name to "NatGeo" which reminds me of ebonics, which drives me into a rage. |
