also i might go to this show.

toggletoggle post by Sacreligion at Dec 4,2008 2:15pm
tom, please do not support them. they are just part of a slew of old rapcore bands from the mid-to-late 90s trying to bank on whatever fame they may have once had.

12 step played a show with 7HP at the lucky dog last month. they made out with about $1200 and this crap band genuflect(another re-hashing of some old band) made another $800. we didn't get shit even though we brought like 30 or so people(blame doomus for that one, not the dog). this is a developing trend that needs to stop.

toggletoggle post by Sacreligion at Dec 4,2008 2:16pm

UGH!

toggletoggle post by FuckIsMySignature at Dec 4,2008 2:18pm
eh i used to be a Reveille fan...i'd be going more for nostalgic purposes.

also Doomis is a complete idiot.

toggletoggle post by FuckIsMySignature at Dec 4,2008 2:19pm
haha and the guy on the way right of that picture looks like he got his head stuck in a vice!

toggletoggle post by Sacreligion at Dec 4,2008 2:20pm
my real gripe with this is that they used to play $5 shows at the e-bar and the place would be packed, and it's not like they were losing money. now they're charging $18 for a palladium show with 3 other crap bands. fuckers were probably like "fuck being an electrician for the past 10 years...let's make terrible music again"

i hope this results in epic fail.

toggletoggle post by FuckIsMySignature at Dec 4,2008 2:23pm
everyone's lookin for an extra buck these days... can ya really blame em?

toggletoggle post by Sacreligion at Dec 4,2008 2:25pm
for charging $18? yes.

i mean jesus christ amon amarth, ensiferum, and belphegor was like $20 and those three bands are an ocean away!

i'm going to book a shootyz groove and orange 9mm reunion show just to spite this and charge $10.

toggletoggle post by FuckIsMySignature at Dec 4,2008 2:27pm
lol i used to love that Orange 9mm song ...what was it called?

toggletoggle post by Sacreligion at Dec 4,2008 2:28pm
i can't even remember hahaha

toggletoggle post by Sacreligion at Dec 4,2008 2:29pm
it was failure. yup.

bennyhillifier

toggletoggle post by dreadkill  at Dec 4,2008 2:35pm

toggletoggle post by arilliusbm  at Dec 4,2008 2:35pm
wasn't this band on the lineup for '99 Ozfest or '98? whichever one slayer played - can't remember.

toggletoggle post by Sacreligion at Dec 4,2008 2:37pm
i think so. waaf was on reveille's nuts for like...that summer.

toggletoggle post by arilliusbm  at Dec 4,2008 2:39pm

toggletoggle post by arilliusbm  at Dec 4,2008 2:52pm

i find it awkward that the dude on the far right of that pic looks like the guy in the einherjer..

toggletoggle post by Sacreligion at Dec 4,2008 3:20pm
i thought they were from shrewsbury?

toggletoggle post by TheGreatSpaldino   at Dec 4,2008 3:27pm
lets get 7th rail crew and eastcide on this show

toggletoggle post by MikeofDecrepitude at Dec 4,2008 3:29pm
A buddy of mine told me Reveille used to hang out in the Solomon Pond Mall. Puts new meaning to the term 'Mallcore".

toggletoggle post by Sacreligion at Dec 4,2008 3:32pm
by the looks of that picture they are going to write new material that sounds like atreyu sevenfold.

toggletoggle post by arilliusbm  at Dec 4,2008 3:34pm
hahaha, eastcide. I used to work with the mother of one of guys in that band. all she'd do is talk them up saying they were the next POD

toggletoggle post by Sacreligion at Dec 4,2008 3:39pm
i'm pretty sure POD came out like right when eastcide broke up.

by "broke up" i mean the singer cut off his dreads and started singing instead of rapping/screaming. this was the point at which eastcide began their rapid descent into trance buddha shows with 5 people including me in attendance.

I remember seeing "KOBALT" stickers / shirts all over the Taunton mall back in the late 90s, early 00s. What the hell is this band?

toggletoggle post by Sacreligion at Dec 4,2008 3:46pm
name sounds familiar. couldn't tell you anything they've done though.

There was some nu metal retard at my high school who covered his locker with Disturbed and MEKANIZM stickers (I think it was his brother's queer nu industrial band).

So when the teacher I was supposed to check in with for my independent study project over a lunch break called out sick I spent an entire lunch period covering the nu metal fag's locker with a bunch of "I'm a big kid at FRIENDLY'S!" birthday stickers one of my friends stole from his job.

Crownevict is on this show which is awesome. Wish i were still around, I'd probably go.

I also pissed off the drummer from Reville @ a party in NH once. We were looking through the guitarists from CV's itunes and I asked if there was any reville on there, and i guess the guy got all butt hurt.

Feelings.

didn't they headline the Metalfest in 2000 with Machine Head? what a terrible band.

toggletoggle post by RustyPS  at Dec 5,2008 8:42am
I have to admit, I was at one time a big Reveille fan.....back when I was young and impressionable.

That is correct, I was there......I must say though, their singer doing a front flip into the crowd off of a huge stack (seemingly 15 feet high off the stage) of speakers was rather impressive, even thinking about now.

What fucking year am I in??? These bands were all terrible when I was 13. I can't even imagine how bad they must be now. What's next? A nation wide tour with Seventh Rail Crew and Gasket for the World Series of Fake Hardcore? I'm legit nauseous.

7th Rail Crew used to bring the Lolz. So did Humans Being and their gospel between songs. Seriously, how gay was it to witness awful poser hardcore with bible banter in between with people clapping like it was some revelation. Worst shit ever.

This one band called Skyline had to be the worst example of shitty mid nineties "hardcore" ever.
