Not one to show beg, but lately it's been tough to get a break.

My new band Mast is looking for a chance to get out and bring to you our awkward little songs. Used to be Dour Cursiva. We're not metalcore anymore, I don't think. If that helps.

The recording quality, vocal style and lineup isn't the same as this was recorded for Dour. Isn't really representative of all the new material.

We're looking for anything in the Northeast. If it's Western MA, NH, VT, ME, NY, etc then weekend is preferable as we all work and stuff.

In theory we'll be recording a 2 song demo at Dead Air Studios in December.


We're doing a show/party thing in our space in Warren, RI next Saturday, Nov. 22nd at 9. FREE, just bring your own beverages. Alcohol and non-alcoholic allowed and equally embraced.

the idea of shows at the shed is usually not feasible because it's a quiet residential area.

But we've sort of rebuilt it in a way that could make it doable.

I will parlay with my associates.

We're still getting our new band name out there, too (new = over a fucking year old, but who's counting ;) ) but we'll do what we can, man!

We're recording a demo with the new lineup/band/material at Dead Air Studios l at the end of this month. At the rate we're going at writing we'll soon have enough material for a full length and an EP. Hopefully, with good fortune, we'll be doing more recording sooner than later in '09.


And maybe one day we'll play a real show!
