Just picked up In The End of Human Existence, and I'll probably be playing it for the next two weeks along with Deeds of Flesh and Severed Savior. What else would you all recommend along this style? I'm looking to get some new music on my Ipod because everything else seems so bland to me right now.

nice.. i am getting DESENSITISED now, and i will follow it shortly with Mystifier. I love new music, i listen to about 3-4hours of music a day i have found. (I walk around the financial district for work CONSTANTLY, and i listen the whole time, sometimes 4-5albums a day) so... any other recomendations would make ME happy too.

Agreed. I'll check those bands out when I have my new computer set up because this one is just about full. But in the mean time keep them coming.

Here's a link for Mystifier... it sounds NOTHING like AP. Just a recommendation for something different. This something being some killer early 90's black/death that REALLY has a filthy Brazilian hard-on for the Devil.

Decapitated (yup, still. Just can't stop listening)
Odious Mortem/decrepit Birth (basically the same band)
And Necrophagist (also, still. Can't stop with this one either.)

If you guys got anything i should add to the "listen to" list, i listen to EVERYTHING someone recommends to me. Psyched to listen to these two. I will give my reviews tomorrow.

well if you want slam like AP, the gorevent full-length is a beeeeeast especially on a good system. for tech death theres the new severed savior and in early 09 the new obscura album comes out. if you dig spazzy tech stuff check out tangaroa and plebeian grandstand. and the new toxic holocaust is a super fun thrash record.
