Anyone heard this band? I acquired 2 of their albums in a trade. The music is total Meshuggah worship, but done right. Holy fucking syncopation. The vocals are fucking awkward; sounds like a shitty hardcore vocalist, haha. It's borderline annoying but 100% amusing, so overall this band is sweet to listen to.

I dig em.

Haha, this guy's vocals are fucking hilarious.

I like Textures a bunch. If there's one gripe I have its the vocals...he sucks any kind of heaviness out of that band, but their nu-metal/Misery Signals melodic parts on the second album are fuckin sweet.

I thught tesseract would be better than it was.
they are good, but more tending towards tool from a meshuggah base.

So the first CD I listened to by Textures, "Polars," has the weird hardcore vocals on it, but their album from 2008 has completely different vocals and don't sound as silly.
