was this show sold out? it looks packed

i dont know if it officially sold out, but the floor was packed...especially during as i lay dying

i got nailed in the head and face like 8 times that means it was a killer show, to all that hit me(kid with the black dahlia murder shirt and army shorts) in the face and head keep moshing and keep it real, and we need more circle pits at shows it could of happen so many times during himsa but there was only the one during sworn enemy, it was good though

with honor: I guess when they say the show starts at 7, then it starts at 7. I was still outside trying to find parking then. I got in for 3 with honor songs. it was unfortunate cause I really wanted to see them. they were super nice afterwards and had been trying to get jay (theundergroundscene.net) and myself in to take pictures. they are just in from their current tour and are heading out AGAIN in a couple days.

himsa: I use to not be a fan of them... but the I saw them at the metalfest and they rocked. their new cd on prosthetic is so good. I don't think this show sounded very good. the new cd is so much better. granted the bass-end was all distorted, but only one of the songs (second from last) really sounded good.

as i lay dying: their performance was so awesome. they were all over the stage and the audience was churning all over themselves. towards the end, the singer for hisma jumped on stage and sang with them.

sworn enemy: the only part of their whole set that wasn't outstanding was the madball-style rap at the begining of one of the first songs. other than that, they were so much fun. The singer would be talking casually into the mic and then you could see him snap and go right into the serious business of singing. at the end brian (shadows fall) dove into the crowd.

the best part was kids massing on brian shaking his hand and "evil" shawn prancing around like a giddy school saying "OH MY GOD! It's brian from shadows fall". priceless.

Man I love With Honor, that band is going to BLOW UP the scene, haha. Great dudes and amazing band, and HOLY SHIT, As I Lay Dying just blew shit out of the water. I had seen them before and though they were awesome, but man, they just destroyed tonight.

Soooo many kids in the crowd too. If it wasn't sold out it was as close as it gets. Anyway, my pics will be up in the next month or two, whenever Gearhost decides to pull the stick from out of their ass and our site works again...

Yeah, it was a fun show, except when I got hit real hard during the first 10 seconds of the sworn enemy set and I nearly broke my nose. So for the rest of the show, I was just chilling with blood pouring everywhere while I saw everyone kicking ass....I was so pissed.

And as for As I Lay Dying......fucking wow.....they blew me away.
