This storm is the size of the fucking gulf of mexico right now. It's heading right for Conservationist.
The weather service states "Certain Death" for those living on the Texas coast as well.
If this shit is as bad as Katrina was, then expect gas prices to jump again..

toggletoggle post by thuringwethil at Sep 12,2008 10:05am
it will hit Galveston like an enraged pimp

Looks like Houston is going to get raped as well. It is only 50 miles from Galveston. it looks like the middle part of Ike is going right through Houston. On another note, The Houston Texans postpone their game on Sunday and move it to Monday due to storm. Bunch of pussies. Imagine an NFL game during a cane? Good times had by all!

Galveston is going to get raped. The real problem with this one is the storm surge, which at high tide, is going to sodomize Galveston.

It is headed for us, but it's not a Category 3-4 storm, so it should be like a really intense thunderstorm. Where I am, the real fear is of secondary tornadoes forming.

We are boarding windows, and I have a "little friend" in case of rioting, but we've never had that here. Galveston might have it; like NOLA, it has a high percentage of criminals, although they're more poor whites and Hispanics than African-Americans at this point.

Freeways are locked up in parts with people fleeing the south of the city.

Here's a good source of info:

http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/index.shtml#IKE

See the carnage live!

HAHA!! The Oilers were awesome! I saw them play the Pats in the early 80's, good times. They were my team in the 80's and early 90's. I ordered an Oilers hat a few months ago. It is the balls! Going for the hoodie next nigguz!

toggletoggle post by aril at Sep 12,2008 4:13pm
some of my fondest memories consist of going to oilers games and then going to astroworld. I'm pissed as FUCK that astroworld no longer exists.

I love how all the retards on here make fun of the people who didn't evacuate.
