The Color of Crime
The Color of Crime, New Century Foundation's report on differences in crime rates by race, bias in the justice system, and interracial crime. First published as a monograph in 1999, the new 2005 edition of The Color of Crime is now available on-line as a free PDF download.
The Bell Curve
Although the debate on this book is over race, really it's a manifesto of social darwinism, suggesting that those who have their act together and earn more money are statistically more likely to be intelligent.
The Global Bell Curve
Extending the idea of The Bell Curve, this book suggests that the nations which prosper are those where intelligence, not natural resources or germs or steel, is of a higher average rate.
The Blank Slate
Exploring the "nature versus nurture" conflict, this book points out how intelligence is an inherited trait, and how personality is determined by genetics as well, casting doubt on the idea that we are all blank slates who can be educated into ideal citizens.

Great. Let's find the non-stupid ones and let them lead.

Not much science content, although the author was a scientist.
Pierce earned a scholarship to attend Rice University in Houston, Texas. He graduated from Rice University in 1955 with a bachelor's degree in physics.[9] He worked at the Los Alamos National Laboratory before attending graduate school, first at Caltech and then the University of Colorado at Boulder, where he earned his Ph.D. in 1962.[9] He taught physics as an assistant professor at Oregon State University from 1962 to 1965.[10]

Try breaking any of these out at a university, or posting about them positively on an internet forum.
Ban city! Wikipedia link has a list of sources that have called for boycott or ban of the book. |
|
"Where the Wild Things Are" was harmful to me. it never told me where they were. |
|
To be fair, liberals could fight to ban way more and still not hold a candle to conservatives in general as far as book banning and censorship in general. |

book banning....maybe
censorship in general
WRONG!
liberals are huge hypocrites who scream for freedom of speech, but wanna shut you up as soon as you say anything that is....or sounds.....or could be confused with something that is.....sexist, homophobic, racist (or in any other way offensive and/or insensitive)
book list may be short, but the list of comics, actors, bands and radio personalities they want to silence is endless |
