Are bands known to walk out with some cash from this place? is it a paying gig?

YES

I've played there a bunch and i think every band I've played there with has walked away with at least some money for gas. Chris is a solid dude who always tries to give everyone a little something. Not to mention, the shows are fun, the crowd is always responsive and the sound is decent. Definitely a worthwhile show if you can get on it.

i only play metal for money. unfortunatly i only played one show around four years ago.

Bands always get paid as long as:

a) the door makes more money than it takes to pay the sound guy

b) they stick around until the end of the show, or at least close to it

c) they don't damage any house equipment

....sounds like someone needs to quit metal.

i love playing metal thursday. it's definitely the most fun show to get on. chris does a great job and there's some kind of pay at the end, but i don't really give a shit about that. it's just a fun time, regardless of money.

we were asked to play september 18th but the gas situation would fuck us after renting a uhaul so i was just wondering if we'd get a few bucks for gas so we could deffinatley do it. I've seen pictures, this place looks intense thanx for the input guys

ken we're not going to play a show for at least a month (or two). i'm hoping we'll be able to play one by oct.
