If anyone is interested in having their music mastered, I am very good and very cheap because I am in the same boat as the rest of you. I dont charge per song or any of that bullshit. Heres what you do you shoot me a demo to be mastered or full album and I do my work. I have great equipment and killer expensive software that I actually paid for myself. Most will take you cd and run it through some bullshit bootleg software, I dont. I take my time and fix noise and frequencies. I also convert tape to cd, and I clean it up well. I also transfer record to cd/tape, whatever you wish. Like I said I am the best deal you will find around rhode island. Reply to this post with an email address if you are interested. seriously most mastering places, (or dudes in their home studio calling themselves mastering engineers) will master a 30 second clip as a sample for potential clients.

I'm shopping around at the moment, but that doesn't mean I want you particularly to master my music. This is why you need to provide examples. No one is going to give you work if you have nothing to show people. Who knows, maybe you're the right man for the job. No one knows though; potential customers need examples of your work. If you have none readily available online, my suggestion is to set up a MySpace with as many samples of your work as possible along with necessary business info.

or better yet...host mp3s or flac files on a server so you don't have your files degraded in quality

pre-mastered clips with comparisons to post-mastering always goes well with this sort of things
