I'm talking an acceptable amount of money that could possible come from like a relative dying and leaving for you. How much would you like and what would you do with it?

I should have saved this for a monday work day question.
I would like say $25K-$35K.

what I would do with the money is

around the house
1) replace all my sliding glass doors with nice french doors that also slide $800-$1000 each. I have 6 of them.
2) replace all my hex-windows. $250 each and I have 4 of them.
3) $2300 for a new fridge
4) $2K for a new plasma TV 48-52"
5) a bunch of custom shelving $1000

camera gear
1) nikon D1x $400
2) mamiya 645fd II with a leaf valeo 22 and a prime lens or 2 $12,000
3) nikon 400mm VR f/2.8 $8,099.98

oh and I would like to buy a 2nd hour for the day.

i'd just like a plane ticket home so i could drive cross country with my lady.

I'd be completely content with roughly $65,000 to pay off all of my debts (student loans, car loan, credit cards). This would also leave me with a little bit of money for myself that I would put towards finally getting everything I need to aid my illustration "career" (good studio space with light table, industrial size scanner, decent server space, additional supplies and enough to do a standard group of mailing lists to art directors). But, ain't gonna happen so I'll continue being a slave to debt.

Piercings no, tattoos yes. There's no way I'd be able to spend that much on tattoos though...I'd have to have new body parts grafted onto me somewhere.

You can probably do that with $65,000
