the next day is Boston go to both!

I live in NH so it would seem logical to go to the Boston show, but here's the curve ball. My girls B Day is the 19th, so crafty me worked this show into the birthday trip. Going to this show, staying in a hotel then Six Flags on Tuesday. This is all after Devourment on the 14th. I've never been to the AS220, any chance of this selling out? 6 bucks is a solid price, I'd gladly pay double.

AS220 rarely sells out unless it's a big show. You will be fine to get in, plus the venue is the best in Providence, in my opinion. Great crowd usually and great food. Plus you get to see White Mice.

Leaving work now! Pumped as fuck.

Here. Ill be your rev for the night with up to the minute updates. Never been to the AS220. The artwork is cool, ok amount of peole so far. White Mice is playing. Immediately my girl is pissed we don't have earplugs (something rev would never forget, I'm a sad excuse for a doppleganger). Wall of fucking bass noise, so loud it hurts. They are dressed as bloody white mice (what else?). Simple bassy grooves, I do like it. Chaotic drumming, weird kit setup (ill get pics). At points its just straight deafening bass. 2 good things about here, they sell big newcastle bottles and motherfuckin Narragansett beer. I didn't know the spelling so I got one and read it. Found out the bar has ear plugs, making me more rev-like with a camera that costs 5786354 dollars less.

I was going to say that they had ear plugs at the bar.

At least that's what this guy told me who, after I brought up NH, he brought up the Elvis Room (before my time), which led me to remark Wesley Willis played there and he said he had been headbutted by said legend. The kind of people I like to meet. They were awesome, thrashing riffs, people moved a bit. Seemed like a short set, but a killer one at that. Now enjoying a tall Narragansett. I like shows like this where people just drunk thrash around, unlike Devourment where I was dodging spin kicks all night.

I think Asra just ended. I'm going to miss them, its my girls b day in an hour. Old school DM worship sounds like a good comparison. The bartender gave us a shot of Patron for free! I talked to the guitar player from As the Sun Sets. He's disappointed about the turnout, "its fucking Gridlink". I agree, if you like grind and worshipped DA, this is it. He said he saw DA, I never did. This is my Discordance Axis moment.

Gridlink played, not last. No words are appropriate. Slayed, killed, you pick. Played a Discordance Axis song. Drummer was amazing. John Chang, everyones vocal hero was everything you hoped. I missed HD due to domestic dispute. Shit sucks but Gridlink delivered %100 plus a million. Joey Umbrella what up, good to meet you. This show further completes my life, after Devourment 2 days ago this month rules.

Don't ever leave your spare set of strings in the car. If you do, just keep playing instead of running out and getting them. They pulled it back together. Fun night. The DA tune was the highlight of the night for me. Ok...and seeing people I wish I saw more often.
