I never was able to beat it back in 99 cause my laptop/computers froze at one spot. then I loaded a saved game which got you past that point and lost interest.

I guess technically it's an RPG. You play the role of Kratos and there's a storyline and bosses but it plays like an Action/Adventure game. It's probably the most fluid game I've played. Prince of Persia 3 basically copied it with the arm whip thing that the dark prince has.

I played some Crisis Core at a friend's... while I'll maintain that the Final Fantasy VII story should just be left alone, I did find it enjoyable, but not worth the cost of a PSP. From my understanding, the original Final Fantasy VII is being completely re-made for the PS3.

Well, me. I liked X A LOT. And I loved VII a lot too. I've played VI through 3 or 4 times and I'm mostly sick of it. And I just beat XII and honestly, it was a great game. Haha. I hate when people get all snobby about Final Fantasy games. I can like whatever game I like. Just as you can like what you like. My only qualm on XII is that Nobuo didn't write most of the music. There were only maybe 3 good catchy tunes in that game.

I bought Crisis Core before I got on the plane for Colorado in February. I tried playing it again last week and still think it's fucking terrible. I downloaded FFVII for my PSP and Ps3 and have been happier than a pig in shit since. Best RPG ever in my opinion.

I've beat that game twice. Easily the best FF in the series next to II, yea thats right II not III.
