In the market for new, comfortable, kicks....I know its a skimpy list but, anyone have a brand loyalty?

I really think And 1 makes comforable shoes but the make them look completely rediculous so only streetballers from Harlem can pull it off.

the shoes i have from new balance are the most comfortable things i've ever worn on my feet. got them from the warehouse in lawrence. a little pricey, but they're very durable.

the most comfortable pair of shoes I've owned were a pair of Vans Wallys. but, vans are now manufactured in China along with everything else, so they're completely garbage.

Light hikers or approach shoes are my first pref.
A few years ago I got into a pair of Garmonts and I have been faithful since.
Sportiva makes some bomb ass shit as well. Function over fashion nigga.

NEW BEDFORD REPRESENT!

I could have sworn I posted in this
but I always rock Vans Old Skool or Slip Ons and Adidas Sambas

or random skate shoes but even though, I like the real low plain ones

new balance... mainly because the factory outlet is the only place i can go to and buy shoes instantly because i have frankenstein feet. 14 EEEE... good luck finding those in olympia or foot locker

toggletoggle post by DaveFromTheGrave  at May 17,2008 12:21pm
Where's the new balance factory outlet?

toggletoggle post by thegreatspaldino   at May 17,2008 12:28pm
in brighton/allston. its right by that old ass dunkin donuts that just changed its sign to a newer one. you can get shoes ridiculously cheap there.

I need alow of width where my toes are, I hate narrow shoes like nikes and shit.

Some type of skate shoe works best, DC usually.

winter: my John Fluvog knee high boots

not winter: my Dansko mary janes or generic sneakers from Payless

OMG, shoes

toggletoggle post by ZenErik   at May 17,2008 12:53pm
I usually wear Vans, Converse, KSwiss, or Sketchers. Whatever works.

toggletoggle post by thegreatspaldino   at May 17,2008 12:57pm
skate shoes dont do it for me now. i used to wear Vans like i was sponsored by them or some shit... the flat shoes just arent my thing anymore.

toggletoggle post by ZenErik   at May 17,2008 12:59pm
I find lighter shoes with little to no arch support great for drumming.

toggletoggle post by W3 nli at May 17,2008 12:59pm
gotta go with vans

I JUST bought some brand new NBs at that place last Friday. There is only 1 shoe store on all of the south shore that ever has good enough shoes in my size, and I actually found the exact pair that I always get at the outlet in Lawrence, for half as much money.

I have no arches at all, so I'm completely flat-footed...I am also slightly knock-kneed and have terrible knees due to multiple dislocations; New Balance's 854 or 864, I can't remember which model number it is, are the only sneakers that have ever given me the correct support I need as well as comfort.

I cannot wear anything that hovers below my ankles. I usually wear light weight boots. Feels fucked otherwise.

Wow Larissa
Who would have guessed that we wear the same shoes? I have john fluvog's for daily shoes, and Dansko clogs for work and that's almost all I ever wear
