The destructive Finnish quintet CHAOSBREED have just signed a worldwide deal with Century Media Records. The supergroup, comprised of vocalist Taneli Jarva (The Black League, ex-Sentenced), guitarist Esa Holopainen (Amorphis), guitarist Marko Tarvonen (Moonsorrow), drummer Nalle Österman (ex-Gandalf) and bassist Oppu Laine (ex-Amorphis, Mannhai), will quickly build a name for themselves for terrorizing listeners with true, old-school brutal Scandinavian death metal. The group’s appropriately titled debut album, Brutal, was recorded and mixed at CCPC Studio with producers Santeri Kallio and Niclas Etelävuori and mastered at the traditionally high-quality Finnvox Studios. The disc also features guest appearances from Entombed members Uffe Cederlund and Jörgen Sandström on lead guitars and background vocals.

sounds stupid, how are they a super group when they are all from bands nobody has heard of (excluding amorphis)?

sentenced and amorphis are two of my favorite bands, but taneli jarva's vocals are ridiculous. i can't listen to him without laughing, especially when i watch the video for "nepenthe". ville is a way better vocalist. sentenced rules! guest appearances from entombed members is good too, but i probably won't bother listening to this record.
