I encounter this problem from time to time in photoshop where I'll create a text layer, or multiple text layers on a background, and then when I try to move the text layers they won't move, and I'll see in my layer panel that the background layer is selected. Usually if I click enough buttons it will eventually let me move it, but it seems like the same process never works twice, and it's probably just something I've over looked. Any Photoshop duders have anything to tell me.

I've set my System32 to Auto-Delete so that can't be it.

Are you commiting changes to text layers by hitting the checkmark button?

Do you have the move tool selected when trying to move the text layer?

I switched over to a different/better computer and I haven't had the same problem since. I think my megahurtz has the spyware or something.
