I think it was included because they didn't want to say "jesus" because we don't know if he was real, and he wasn't in the old testament, which is cited alot

and I think they just said bible because they have no idea who the writer/writers were

i look so much like him its scary. in Rocky IV there is a scene where they show banners of Stalin and Lenin hanging in the stadium where Rocky and Ivan Draco fight, and the first time i watched that after growing a beard i almost fell out of my chair.
