Because of the time limit there is due to some new guy at Rockos, most of the bands only get a 20 minute set, leading to a 40 minute Tyag set. Lineup will be:
All bands must show up on time for load in, because we will be backlining every 3 bands. I will send more information to every bands myspace right about now.
I will be there for the rock. 40 minute tyag? jeepers. it will be cool to see devon for the first time in 2 years. last time I saw him was at a show in pvd.
The reason I'm going to this show is to see psytoxia.
haha we only have like 18 minutes of rehearsed music so 20 minute sets work out nicely. 40 minutes of TYAG may cause me to spontaneously combust, but its worth it.

Hahah, makes perfect sense. I'm still waiting to order my power amp so I can finally run my Basson, and eventually I'll have two of them (or just sell a lot of shit and get an 8x10). Having my SVT3-PRO run through a power amp that pushes 900 watts at 8 ohms into a Basson 4x10 is gonna be amazing.
I've only seen it on the website, but never in person. The Basson bass cap is pretty big as well. Where my Ampeg cab is the normal 4x10 size, the Basson is about the same size as a standard 4x12 guitar cab, it's bigger than my guitarist Shaun's Marshall.
There may be a small change in the lineup and an addition to it that I don't really want but whatever. The good news about that would be that there will be longer set times and the show will go until 11.

I don't like The If In Life that much and am definitely glad Dave decided not to put them on. They wouldn't have been a good mix. Dave's a good guy and is trying to help his bands out but this is definitely not the show for them.

Anyway, Aaron to answer your question, I was the original guitarist in TYAG then one day there were 2 more guitarists, which is all well and good, but we weren't Iron Maiden. I had my hands full with 2 other bands and college at the time, so I figured it was best to leave since Matt and Pat wrote/played waaay differently than I did, so it was a clusterfuck for me to try adapting, haha.
