agreed. i don't work in customer service, but i do have to talk to vendors for the company, and sometimes i when i hang up the phone i have to take a minute to recollect myself. it was funny at first, but now its terrifying.
Internal helpdesk is bad enough (and was I ever glad to escape from there), but dealing with actual customers? I have something closely resembling pity for you, my friend. The public, they are teh stupid.
I work at a mental health clinic. Most of the people i have to deal with suck. Im mostly behind the scenes though. But if i have to answer the phones or take the window people it gets pretty annoying at times.
