One of the best death metal bands ever, and definitely one of my biggest influences. I wish it was a rumor about the drummer dying. Even if they ever do get a new drummer, it woujld never be the same, because those are some big shoes to fill.

Dude, I agree 100%... every Decapitated album was unique and I loved them all for different reasons. Truly one of the most elite bands in the world and the drumming was definitely a huge part of that.. this is a sad day for metal.

not one of my favorite bands, but i enjoy them and i'm sad to hear the drummer died. 23 years old. that sucks.

I have never in my life seen anyone who hears the song Spheres of Madness not bang their head in some way. My KIDS do, my dad did when he heard it, my wife does, it's EPIC, and that's one track out of SO many. The band was a phenomenon, a bunch of kids making brutal tech-death metal. I love Decapitated, so today's a fucking shitty day.

Decapitated is by far one of my favorite bands. Cemeteral Gardens is probably one of my favorite songs ever.

I can certainly appreciate the fact that the guys are really talented and play quite well together despite their ages - there was a time when I really liked Decapitated but truth be told I lost interest in them; their choppy, stuttering technical style is just something I don't care much for.

cyber nerds start shit on websites because they lack good bands to play with or places to put their dicks. dogs and light sockets do not count.
It's a shame the guy had to die, though if he had lived through the surgery, he might not have been able to come back as great as he was. maybe he would have rather died than not be able to play. i know that's pretty much where i stand. not the best band on earth, but no one deserves that. especially when you're that young. even if you are polish and haven't met rich horror.

So sad. I was a fairly recent convert to this band too. I had no idea he was so young.

My introduction to Decapitated....
was at the Met back in I think 01. I went to see Incantation and Impaled, showed up super early, so early that bands were still loading in;so I just walked into the Met. Inside all the bands were hanging out eating and shit, so I just sat on the ground next to Decapitated who was eating veggie lasagna on the couch. They were all my age and shit but talking a million miles per hour in Polish so I didn't really get the chance to talk to them. I didn't know what to expect but they went up there and absolutely fucking destroyed. It was one of the greatest single "I wonder if this band is any good" moments. Very inspirational!

Seriously though....Between people posting them and others re-posting them, I signed in today and had no less than 60 in my inbox. I hate to see how many that people have, who have way more friends on myspace than I do.
