I've posted this before; but this is the sole ad for a drummer.
Someone who is preferably decent/experienced and good with double bass / creativity.

We don't have a space yet because we're waiting for a drummer; however I am eying a place in Taunton, MA for practice. However, this may not be the case because the other guitar player is on the north shore.

This is going to be a serious band, no bullshit. Practice once a week on Friday nights.

Haha, there was no other way to describe what it's going to be. "Historic" - one of the ideas for lyrics will be aimed towards early Celtic / northern European history.

But, seriously, what we're hoping for is a mix between slow, drawn-out drone-y hypnotic stuff (think Drudkh, Burzum), blast-y straight ahead black metal (old Enslaved and Emperor), thrashy-tempoed riffy stuff (like Ensiferum, Wintersun), and straight up acoustic stuff (that one Ulver record, that one Drudkh record, and just traditional folk music). Of the songs we've got started and/or written (going on 5, now), they're all pretty much spread across those feels - although we'll probably work on more fast stuff once we've got a drummer in the mix.

Seth, I don't know if you've got a screenname on here, but if so, you should sign in and post so I can PM you my number.

BTW, Larissa, I seriously hate you for snapping up "Bauglir" as a project name; I was saving that one for a Tolkien-themed solo BM project myself. Motherfuckers using up all the good Tolkien words...

Just got done jamming (3rd practice). Probably 5, 6 songs anywhere from completely arranged to just starting, but I can't believe how much shit we've gotten done.

Yeah, practice with drums is just ever so slightly more productive than practice without; made a lot of progress. Multiple thank yous to space owners for use of equipment; it was cool to finally meet you all, however briefly. Multiple nothankyous to my left index finger for crapping out and having a pulled muscle; you are false, un-metal, and I'm kicking you out of the band. Anyone who knows a left index finger that's looking to play in a pagan/historic/war/black metal band, hit me up.
