It sounds a lot like a case against a woman who probably doesn't even know what Kazaa is put on by a group of lawyers who definitely don't know how Kazaa works.

the shittiest thing is that the lawsuit was brought by the RIAA, a company which, despite its name, represents the interest of labels more than those of the artists. i'd be suprised if any of the artists who were "ripped off" see any of that money.
were i in that woman's shoes, i would present that i would gladly pay the fine so long as i could pay it to the artists directly.
