New site? Maybe some day.
|
Ok, so tomorrow is the 1st day of Maine bowhunting season.
I have washed my clothes in scent-block and they are currently drying outside. I screwed my broadheads onto my new arrows (G5 Strikers) (Hoyt-Easton 340 grain carbon fiber) and am ready to go. I also sprayed down all of my accessories to include my release with scent-block.
I am headed out at 0500. About 1 click (kilometer) due northwest of my house. This should give me plenty of time to get my climber (climbing tree stand) in place and get about 20ft up and harnessed in before twilight breaks.
I only have 2 hours to hunt before I have to head in to go to work, but with any luck, this precious 2 hours will yield the 190 class B&C 10 point that I have been tracking all summer.
Tune into my rad hunting blog as the season unfolds... |

I have a 2006 Hoyt Trykon...315 FPS. Fast and quiet, but a tad heavy.
I also shoot 3D, we have a league here in Barrington at Brians Archery.
