So when the information was related to me that they'd been put on the bill, I said, "You know what? We can't play this show." And they'd kicked them off. But I was like, "Oh, my god, why did you do that?" Because that just makes me look like a fanatic and it doesn't really show the love that I have in my heart these days that I'd like to be able to share with these musicians. And this is really a fitting climax to anyone's career, because what do I have left to gain, my friend? A Grammy and getting into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Everyone thinks it's great to gets your hands stuck in cement in front of Guitar Center [on Sunset Boulevard in L.A.], but those are the things I'm looking for. I've got everything else I want: I've got a beautiful wife and kids — I've got a new puppy, for Chrissakes — everything in my life is looking up. I'm going to Hawaii next month to work on my tan for the next tour and see if I don't turn into a piece of flash paper. Whenever I go to the beach, it smells like pork rinds because I start to burn instantly

Who cares what Dave Mustaine believes in. He's awesome (met him a couple of times) and his music is awesome....... We'll some of the stuff he did in the 1990's I didn't like. The System Has Failed cd was pretty cool.......

I never could get past Mustaine's vocals. They always bothered me for some reason. His riffs and music on the other hand are great.

i know rust in peace is everyones gloryhole megadeth album, but its the worst of the first four by far! killing is my business and so far so good so what crushes that album.

Pretty sure all the albums with Friedman were from his sober years, actually. That's one of the reasons there was so much tension between Mustaine, Freidman, and Menza. They were still going out and getting fucked up, and Dave didn't like it.

I love Megadeath, I think their last 2 albums were better than anything Metallica or Slayer has put out recently...but why listen to them when you could listen to RUST IN PEACE?

I downloaded some to check it out. I was right about this band. Sounds just like trivium, but the singer sounds like that guy who ruined this old metallica demo I bought on ebay. The singing sucked so bad I couldn't even give it away afterwards. After realizing it wasn't load, I ended up leaving it in a taxis cab.
