I just saw an add for this on the myspace.

"Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End" or something like that, May 25th.

I hadn't heard anything about this until just now, which is weird because they usually hype the fuck out of these movies

Yeah it's kindof weird. I found out about this yesterday. Shouldn't this be the movie to be hyped for like 3 months?

The trailer has been in moview previews, it's just that there have only been like 3 movies that people have been going to see since they showed the trailer.

If you've gone and seen like 9 movies in the past two months, you'd be sick of the pirates trailer.

Kindof like that fucking 'The Reaping' comercial that was played every 8 seconds on every TV channel for the past year.

I'm a big fan of these movies but when I heard they made another one I had to sigh. Hollywood just doesn't know when to stop.

toggletoggle post by ariavette at May 7,2007 12:42pm
The second one wasn't nearly as funny as the first and about a half hour to long

toggletoggle post by Yeti at May 7,2007 12:43pm
see i loved the second one just as much as the first.

They announced there would be a trilogy before the first one ever even came out, The second and third were filmed at the same time, and the second one ended with a to be continued.

So it's not like hollywood is trying to slip something past people to make extra money and ruin a movie.

i'm still holding on to the hope that hollywood will make C.H.U.D. 3.

I like the idea of having Scury doing the soundtrack for this movie.

Swim with the sharks mother fucker!

i have yet to see the second one, although i'm pretty sure i have the gist of it

"johnny depp, slash slash, bang bang, keira knightley, hot, hot, hot, orlando bloom, girls in theater screaming, some more action, something about a pirate, to be continued"

not even close. its really fucking good. i like the fact that it was almost 3 hours. if a movie is capable of holding my interest for 3 hours, i am all for it. like the directors cut of Return of the King. i think that 5 hours is absolutely necessary.

I can't imagine watching a movie that almost takes up a full work day.
