i didn't think the lineup was that mismatched. or are you the type that only goes to shows with 20 death metal bands that all sound exactly the same? i mean each of the bands considers themselves grindcore, so it's not exactly like we're pulling shit out of left field here.

dead infection are at my apartment now.

id: with the 2 cabs, it usually sounds a lot fuller than it did. It's not that it wasn't loud. The beginning of their set was almost painful it was so loud, but there was something missing. Still they played a openning song that reminded me of napalm death and then went into song that sounded more like the longer songs they played at PVD show I saw them at.

Wish I were there, too much prep for MDF to do instead.

asra: they were cool. This is their 2nd time in this state. The drummer and guitarist both screamed. It started of without the singer on stage. After the first song he got up on stage. I'm trying to think what other band they sound like, but I'm sort of at a loss right now. good stuff none the less.

where is their regular singer? i saw them about 6 months ago and they had this bald dude on the mic (who didnt play an instrument) and looked slightly similar to frank mullin. i didnt see him in these pics

This was an AWESOME show. I can't understand the tiny turnout for a show like this....Psycho and Dead Infection kicked so much ass....unbelievable.

Apologies to ID and ASRA for not catching their sets, we were too busy writing writing hymns to blasphemy and irreligiousness.

psycho: this is the shortest psycho set in the histry of psycho sets. granted, I haven't seen that many, but their set list was a mile longer than they played. The dudes from witch tomb ran in during their set to fill the void in the front of the room. Did charlie get a new kit? That thing was huge. I always picture him playing a kit that is ever so slightly falling apart..before and afterwards, the bassplayer (who moves around like a maniac) complained about his back.

dead infection: they were good. Not as amazingly over-baring as I thougt they would be, but good. since the sound there was messed up, their was a little bit of feedback from the house through the mics. Their pedals made it sound more like chirping birds.

No that was my usual drum kit !!!! Yeah our set got cut a bit short.... but when you have 26 tunes to rip out..sometimes ya cant play em all !!! Our Bassist ED has a slipped disc in his back and couldnt go as nuts as he usually does !

yeah psycho and dead infection were amazing. glad we got there in time to see most of psycho. such a great show.

oh, he rocked out still... and is probably paying for it now..
