DT is awesome live, actually so at The Haunted, I'm just not really into either.

Instead I'm going to smoke a lot of pot and roam around Boston with my crazy fucking friend singing Mr. Bungle and reminiscing about Kindergarten. It's going to be way more awesome than this show.

Character is a great CD, haven't heard Fiction yet.

I have been a fan since I got a 7inch of theirs before their 1st CD was released.

Into Eternity was so sweet. The haunted was awful. One Kill Wonder was their last good album

I left before the Haunted I met Christian from Scar Symmetry... talked to him about the Miseration project, he said they recorded that album in a week. Scar Symmetry were awesome but Into Eternity stole the show... Dark Tranquillity were proficient but it looked to me like everyone but Mikael Stanne didn't want to be there

DT usually steals the show BECAUSE of the antics of mikael.

yeah it was pretty awesome in that respect they opened their set with a new song and he was like "how many of you recognize this?" and half the audience responds... so hes like "well you're all a bunch of fuckin pirates I see, this isn't out till next month"

How the hell were Scar Symmetry awesome? The guitars were completely buried in the mix, the clean vocals were unbelievably dry and out of key...definitely more suited as a studio band.

And didn't DT open with Terminus? There's a video of the damn song on their Myspace. They noted that Focus Shift was up on there, but they must've forgotten they had the live video of Terminus on there too.

I left after DT. Who the hell could sit through an hour and a half of the Haunted? Eeew.

I was fairly near the sound guy. And it sounded more like they didn't know how to set their amps than the sound guy's problem. And that still wouldn't explain the vocals being out of tune and sounding ultra-shitty.
