Yeah. It's one of my favorite King novellas, so I was bummed out when I saw how terrible the movie was. Balki Bartokomos was not who I pictured when I read the story as the asshole psycho businessman.

Yeah. I remember reading in TV Guide when it first came out years back that he'd be in it, playing that role. I foolishly watched it anyways. I think the book it's from is 'Four Past Midnight' that has four really great novellas in it. It's really great, you should definitely check it out.

it's one of those ideas that's really neat in a book but very, very awkward to portray visually (never mind by pac-men)

Classically bad in a good way. Creepy premise, hilarious cgi, and the paper ripping. Would watch again for the nteenth time. All stephen king adaptations regardless of quality remind me of when i was a kid.
