Yeah, I can't make that one. Last practice before we play with him the next night. Still working on getting beyond the learning curve with the current songs with Bloodshed.
Tell Anderson that I said hi.

suprisingly Marc Rizzo is actually an interesting solo guitar player. It's nice to see that he's actually doing something with his talent rather than wasting it in soulfly...but he's gotta pay the bills, so it's understandable. I'm thinking of going to this.
Oh yeah, Marc playing Milly's is this Thur (Feb 22.)

does milly's have a real PA yet?
I believe it is the same one that has been in there since they started doing shows. I thimk they bring in shit for nationals though, I am not sure on this though.
Great show, Mortis owned the night even when they got kick out for beign under age after their set, Rizzo was good as you might expect from him, so were Bloodshed and S.M., can't remember the first bands name but was an interesting fusion of groove and funk metal with some growls here and there. Downfall didn't play, they might be looking for a new guitar player.
His shows never get promoted anywhere. sad.
I saw him last spring in Harper's Ferry in Allston, and there was like 15 people there, and I think most of them went to see Gary Howe.
Was it a better turnout this time? BTW EVERYONE who digs guitar music should get his Colossal Myopia CD, its amazing. 2nd best instrumental CD after Perpetual Burn.
There was a pretty good amount of people there for this show. I hear you with the lack of promotion for him, I had never heard of him before Janatry 2007.
I think next time he comes thru the area, Anderson and I are gonna help out with the promotion, A better club than Milly's ...etc. We had a long talk after the milly's show, And just between the people we both know, We could have packed that place. But neither of us knew about the show til like a week before.
