Ok, how many CDs has your band sold? Not given away or sent out as promos but sold?

I the about the last 2 months I have sold 27 CDs, all online via paypal or money order. I am a one-man-band Death Metal band (Bloodsoaked) and with only using myspace for promotion I have sold 27 CDs.

So how many as your band sold?

probably around 60 since october '06. more so in the first couple months than now... and not so much online purchases than purchases at shows.

We've given away like 60-80 demos at our past 2 shows, does that count?

This is the most lame band spam ever.

My band has probably spent more money giving away demos, and mailing them overseas than we did recording it.

I like to think of it as "na na na na na" the thread.

Horn of Valere - Blood of the Heathen Ancients
1000 copies pressed on Death Gasm and their website lists it as 'sold out' but I know of tons of distros that have copies in stock so I have no idea how many have actually sold.

CNV - Arisisng Dungeon Cult
No idea, really. I know only 1000 were pressed on Ixiol Productions and again, I know many distros that stock it but no number of copies actually sold.

Panzerbastard - ZERO. TAPE demo coming soon so we wont ever sell any CD's ;)

One time I found about a hundred CDs in the dumpster at Newbury Comics in Nashua and I sold them back to Newburys in Manchester and made 60 dollars.

we've been a band for about 3 years and haven't sold a single cd or piece of merch. we've given away hundreds of shitty cd's.
