Yes, O'Brien's will be back. No, we didn't end up changing the name.
We now have central air and the place won't smell like a urinal. FUCK YEAH!
I might end up adding another band, but we'll see. Who's fucking psyched?
Haha hardly, Mechannibal are trying to get shows now too. It's tough. I think they have only played out 2 or 3 times since they started. That Somerville show might have been the last one they did. If I hear of some basement show or something and they need a band I'll put you in touch.
noice, email me if you want Mechannibal. Basement shows, if they're gonna have metal, should generally have punk/hc too. Punx are more likely to come to such shows.
i asked sulaco initially if they could play. when they said yes, i asked conifer since they are friends and toured together. that tour never ended up hitting boston. i wanted to see it, so i just booked it myself. haha.
revocation are super sick and i've been talking to hirudinea about booking them for alittle while now. it just all worked out together.
i think it's a cool line up. something for everyone.

hey its your show, i just think its a weird line up
i figured for Conifer and Sulaco you'd see CWAF, Ocean or the Body.
i don't know cwaf or the body, actually.
i know i've heard cwaf. i remember them being sorta grindy or chaotic, but maybe i'm thinking of someone else?
the body i don't know at all.

i'll check them out at some point. i don't really check out too much shit these days. i just don't have the time that i used to.
dumb man, but your loss.
i know it's dumb but i have a shitty internet connection at my house. i get like 2 or 3 demos in the mail a week and i take the time to listen to them all and give them a chance. either way, i'm not rich enough to even put those cds out. then i get another 2 or 3 cds a month just from bands who need shows in the area and i listen to those too. and lately i've been in the studio like 3 or 4 days a week. it's pretty time restraining doing what i do. hopefully you understand a bit.
I keep looking into the O'Brien's window and see more stuff being brought back in. I'm just waiting for one of those typical last minute phone calls where I have to run over there and bring in boxes and boxes of shit and help set up the sound system. blah.
Brian from Gut/Prophetless was supposedly told it wouldn't be ready for two more weeks, at least. What that means for this show, I have no idea. Maybe you'll all luck out and they'll finish just in time.
'Unfortunately the contruction is taking a little longer at O'Briens so it looks like 2 more weeks before they open. Should have a new date for the show by the end of the week. More info soon.'

This is pertaining to Boston's Dead, not the 3/16 show. Just in case people can't figure that out. But apparently two more weeks, at least.
i was gonna say, I went by there 2 or 3 days ago and looked inside (for remisicing purposes, mostly, sniff sniff weep weep) and I was wondering how they thought they were gonna pull some of these shows off.
Looks like the place will be pretty awesome though, and not too different as to ruin the vibe of it all.

Does anyone know if that damn place will be ready? Fuck, its killing me
the bands have not canceled, but o'brien's will not be ready. i unfortunately have to cancel the show unless someone can pull of a miracle and find a new venue for this
