By bus! For the people that take the chinatown bus from boston to nyc....go online to greyhound.com get yer eticket for 30 roundtrip..same price..but from the stories I've been told abt funwah...the service and seats are way better.

So much cheaper than driving..though aaron and I are going next week and he'll wanna drive...as long as I don't have to..

toggletoggle post by succubus  at Jan 4,2007 5:09pm
I haven't been there in months....

Lizzzzzzz

toggletoggle post by succubus  at Jan 4,2007 7:48pm
I will!
I'm in clinton ct now...just driving past the clinton outlets...

toggletoggle post by succubus  at Jan 4,2007 7:52pm
Yuxk...aaron mapquested clinton ro nyc and it's 2 hours...wtf? Bus eta was 930

toggletoggle post by KeithMutiny  at Jan 4,2007 7:55pm
this is the way i judge the bus lines...

ok, from Boston to Baltimore.
bus - 9 to 11 hours depending on stops, $65
drive - takes me about 5 hours, $55 or so
plane - 1.5 hours, $75

...I'll never take the bus, if its my choice.

toggletoggle post by succubus  at Jan 4,2007 8:03pm
Well 30 bucks round trip..I don't like driving long distances alone, my truck would have cost me more in gas. Nxt week I think aaron and I are goin..and I'm sure he'l drive

In new haven now....abt 1hr 30min away. That's how long the commuter rail from here takes

toggletoggle post by KeithMutiny  at Jan 4,2007 8:07pm
i can usually make it from here (framingham) to nyc in about 3 hours.

but it depends on traffic and shit obviously.

i think Beth and I may be heading back out there sometime very soon, she has to meet with some agencies and stuff like that, so it gives me an excuse to go to NYC for a few days and wander around

toggletoggle post by succubus  at Jan 4,2007 8:10pm
Def sounds like fun! How is she btw? I never did take any pics

toggletoggle post by KeithMutiny  at Jan 4,2007 8:12pm
shes well. shes trying to get some work in during school break, so its kinda crazy, but thats only for a couple more weeks, then things are back to, relative, normality.

What highways are you using? I live about 10 minutes or so away from exit 5A on 95 in Rhode Island and going straight down the same highway it would take me that long to get to New York. Then again, the average mph I'm driving goes down by at least 30 once I hit New Haven...

I hate you. I just went to Baltimore last week and it was 22 hours round trip. The highways were a parking lot.

i've taken greyhound and the fung wah. the greyhound cost me more money when i took it and the fung wah was totally fine service-wise so i just take that.

toggletoggle post by babyshaker213 at Jan 5,2007 1:01pm
the fungwah just had 2 wheels fall off one of the buses going to new york

toggletoggle post by succubus  at Jan 5,2007 1:03pm

i skip RI, i take rt90, to rt84, to rt91, to rt95.

then hop on the jersey turnpike and 95 through delaware and maryland.

toggletoggle post by menstrual_sweatpants_disco   at Jan 5,2007 4:54pm
I always have fun on 95. I must have sat through 2 hours of traffic on the New Jersey turnpike last weekend.

And then someone rear-ended me in Delaware.

toggletoggle post by KeithMutiny  at Jan 5,2007 4:56pm
everytime im in delaware all i can think of is wayne's world

toggletoggle post by KeithMutiny  at Jan 5,2007 4:57pm
oh yea, and 99% of the time, i go there, i drive at night, so that makes a huge difference

2 years ago when i went to MDF, Hope and I spent atleast 3 hours saying that, over and over and over, at the time it was the most hilarious thing in the world, but i had also been up for like 50 hours at that point.

I thought Framingham was more off 495 for some reason, hmm.

People drive fucking FAST on some of those highways in Connecticut too, that part of I-91 you're talking about probably has people confusing the highway signs with the speed limit signs, damn Yale kids must like to go blazing 95-100 mph down that road.
