where do you buy them (other than a website like musiciansfriend.com) i cannot find them anywhere.

toggletoggle post by Niccolai   at Jan 2,2007 11:47am
Which specific model are you looking for? and where are you located?

It's tricky to find a good dealer in the south shore area because Matt Leff (mattsmusic) is a douchebag and pays ESP money every year to not let anyone else within like 70 miles carry esps.

anywho, here's a list of dealers:

Music123.com
Americanmusical.com
worldmusicsupply.com
Zzounds.com

and a good MA dealer:

Carlinoguitars.com

Don't shop at matts music (he's a fucktard), and don't shop at musiciansfriend or music 123.com because they are owned by guitar center... and fuck guitar center.

does drumcityguitarland carry esp?

toggletoggle post by Niccolai   at Jan 2,2007 12:01pm
How did I forget that?

Drumcityguitarland.com does also carry ESP/LTD.

Jason from DCGL is the man.

Ordering a guitar from there drives me nuts because it takes 2 weeks to get here from CA, but American Musical ships out of NJ so alot of the time I'll get the guitar next day.

Matt is a tool, he's been a dick about almost every transaction Ive made there, he over charges too

+5 million

If you're not buying a 3000 dollar Jackson custom, he doesn't give a god damn about your buisiness.

He's the only dealer I know who has a lowest price polacy, but refuses to match lower prices.

He holds off on orders, I've had to wait months and months for readily available production guitars from him.

If you order a guitar, he makes you pay for shipping from them to the store.

and I'm 99% certain that when I've ordered gutiars from him, he's ordered factory seconds/blemishes and sold them as new price.

I hope he goes out of buisiness so that some respoectable stores in the area will be allowed to carry ESP and Crate.

buy from http://www.drumcityguitarland.com

you will not find a better person to deal with.

I got mine at this place called Union Music in Worcester. I don't really see em around at other places though.

toggletoggle post by Sinistas   at Jan 2,2007 1:28pm
I just found Union Music on Saturday (along with Coney Island...mmm!). I'll probably get my next axe there (Singlecut SE FTW!).

toggletoggle post by SacreligionNLI at Jan 2,2007 1:29pm
how can you go wrong with a music store and a hot dog stand right next to each other?

toggletoggle post by Sinistas   at Jan 2,2007 1:49pm
I know, not to mention one with Polar soda?

I just got mine used at Guitar Center in MO (I was out there visiting friends). Great deal -- $400 with case, used in just about mint condition, with EMG 81 and 85.

the thing with gc is its a hit or miss cause they don't sell them new because of a deal that they have with schecter. but that is a steal those pickups sell in a set for around $200

toggletoggle post by Niccolai   at Jan 2,2007 1:58pm
Schecter isn't the reason GC doesn't stock ESPs.

ESP and schecter are owned by the same parent company.

and buying a used ESP means you don't get the lifetime warranty.

LTDs?

If they are the cheapest pieces of shit you've ever owned, than you must only play ESPs.
