I know what you mean. I'm back at work for the first time since the 22nd. I accomplished absolutely nothing during my time off and slept like a teamster on a Big Dig job the whole time. I think going back to work is the healthiest thing for me right now though because it finally puts some structure back into my life. Once you play 4 games of Madden in a row, and realize you've still got 12 hours left in the day and nothing to do... you need that extra something.
