This show is for you old schoolers........ This is a warm-up show for Meliah before they go out on tour with Metal Church across the U.S. & Canada. I might get up on stage with them and sing "Retaliation" from the "Solitary Solitude" album.

Mike Monro left the band in 2003 (just as Meliah got back together). The new singer Paul Souza is pretty good.......

downfall: eh, the sound wasn't the best. I come to expect a lot more of the sound here. they also didn't change the lights up at all. I was hoping for more out of the club. Downfall still played well.. It's just not what I wanted.

candy stripper death orgy: got the first song sent out to me. Plus, the sound dude agreed to work the lights. this is my first time catching the new line up. This band is so much better as a whole. Greg's drumming is the perfect match. He plays like he was meant to be in this band. The new guitar player kills. I've commented in the past that they needed a second guitarist and then bang, one appears. We was goofy, but played effortlessly yet fast. He did some wanking off solos that didn't seem right, some good solos, and just messed around on the frets board a few times. In other words, exactly what a lead guitarist in a thrash band is suppose to do. he plays like it's nothing while the other guitarist sweats his ass off and plays like he's trying to bust a hard nut. 15+ years and they still don't have a CD/tape, but this is the best sounding whole CSDO since probably the 1989's appearance on WUNH's METAL STORM. hopefully, they pull it off cause I would love to hear this combo on disc. Oh, I did notice that one of the breakdowns in an older song sounded different.. it was played a little... Unearthy. Ahahah.

meliah rage is setting up. I hope the bassist turns so I have use my new settings on this colorful sleeve tattos.

Will they be with Metal Church at that oh so bitchin venue, The Lucky Dog, when they come around back to Worcester?

i don't care what people say mike in unearth is a very good drummer...

if unearth would just widen up their style they could be 1000 times better..
i heard that for the record they just put on they had tracks that had blast beats and such but metal blade didn't let that fly.

He's a very good drummer. It's a bit of a disappointment to hear him do the same old shit when he's capable of so much more. So, if metal blade is responsible for that....shitty.

he's very techy and can basically learn things the second he hears them. in UE he seems finally to be a happy dude. it's more that the money. anyone who knows him could tell you the same thing. unearth seems to be good in balancing his restless soul. when he was the guitarist in BSI, people were afraid of him... myself included while he was playing at least.when he was drumming for TRC, I once saw him set up and tare down his drums like 5 times while the other bands played. right after he joined UE, I saw him drunk at a show that none of his bands were playing (@ obriens). I had never seem either of those things before. so he might not be playing to his fullest, but he's not having breakdowns and quitting.. he's just playing breakdowns and lots of them.

Mike is the best!! He's a brother..... A metal brother..... He'll always be a part of CSDO.... He's become too busy with Unearth. Which is o.k. Graig Marseglia is doing a killer job!! He's perfect!! Another metal brother

MELIAH RAGE like METAL CHURCH may not have reached the heights of MEGADETH or ANTHRAX but still remain a force in the metal world. I'm excited for our local boys and the upcoming tour with MC. Looks like OVERKILL is on some of the tour dates.
