Have you ever thought of having a guitar and bass tablature page on here. I know you don't play an instrument (as far as I know) but I think it would be a cool feature. I would add to it of course, as should whoever else wants to. Thoughts?

okay...here it is. I like going to shows and seeing bands play and have fun. But I also like seeing musicianship. If local bands wanted to post their own tabs of their band or just riffs that they've been jammin with other guitarists could check it out and might want to go see them pull it off live. Also, it would be an easy way for people to try out for other bands. Maybe not everybody, but I think if there was a tab page some people would appreciate bands more.

I'm sure some people will say they don't want to preview their riffs cuz they don't want people to "rip them off" but I'm not one of those. I'm a hobby rocker. Also, I think it would break up the monotony of arguing.

this would be a good idea for local songs, like if you want to post your own tabs, but you couldn't post tabs of other bands cause then it would be copyright infringement.

I've been to at least 15 tab sites in the last month that were shut down (I was looking for Evergrey tabs without much luck).

i still think it's lame, but if you're going to do it, someone program a midi player like what they have at wholenote.com. kinda like a in browser power tab.

whole note is cool for licks or chords but for whole songs its retarded
