I figured since there was a Chuck thread why not appreciate the band.

toggletoggle post by DrinkHardThrashHard  at Dec 16,2006 8:57am
Leprosy is probably the best or 2nd best death metal record ever.

toggletoggle post by Ryan_M at Dec 16,2006 11:14am
I have "Fate: The Best of Death". And "Symbolic". "Symbolic" is a godly record.

the demos

Scream Bloody Gore is my favorite Death album, and probably my second favorite Death Metal album ever. Every track on that album is fucking classic. Followed very closley by Leprosy and Spiritual Healing.

Symbolic.

toggletoggle post by retzam at Dec 16,2006 12:28pm
This changes so much for me, but right now it's Individual Thought Patterns.

toggletoggle post by Troll at Dec 16,2006 1:08pm
I voted Symbolic but I really owe it to Leprosy.
"Pull The Plug" kills.

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Dec 16,2006 1:18pm
leprosy has most of my favorites, but symbolic is a more solid LP.

toggletoggle post by Troll at Dec 16,2006 1:20pm
exactly

call me gay... but i pretty much like Control Denied more so than Death... Symbolic, Sound, Individual, Human, Leprosy, Spiritual healing, and Scream Bloody Gore are all great though... out of Death alone... i would have to say Symbolic takes it for me, followed by Sound of Perseverance

toggletoggle post by SlavonicIdentity at Dec 16,2006 3:51pm
Spiritual Healing.

Leprosy and Individual Thought Patterns...good stuff

toggletoggle post by xanonymousx at Dec 16,2006 9:28pm
they are all great.

toggletoggle post by DrinkHardThrashHard  at Dec 16,2006 11:08pm
I was heartened to see Leprosy win this. I'm not so much into the metaphysical crap Chuck was into on the later albums, I liked 'em when they sounded like 'death' metal and had those evil riffs. Damn were they evil. I like Symbolic the most of their later records, but it still was a different Death.

toggletoggle post by CNV at Dec 16,2006 11:18pm
Leprosy

toggletoggle post by rotivore at Dec 17,2006 7:20pm
I dont like symbolic. this is differcult. Id say spiritual healing slightly over leprosy. But followed closely by individual thought patterns. Death is so classic to me.

toggletoggle post by metal_church101  at Dec 18,2006 10:20am
As far as entire albums: Human/Individual Thought Patterns/Scream Bloody Gore

toggletoggle post by anonymous at Dec 18,2006 10:29am
wow leprosy!? HUMAN was their best in my ears. but leprosy had its moments, the drumming was so boring. pull the plug!!!!!

toggletoggle post by DreamingInExile   at Dec 18,2006 10:46am
I voted Human (partly because I'm a HUGE Cynic fan too)

I don't have a least favorite album, I just like Human more then the rest.

toggletoggle post by insipidzombie nli at Dec 18,2006 10:47am
I'll say Symbolic, but Leprosy is a close second for me

toggletoggle post by Josh_Martin at Dec 18,2006 11:18am
Back From The Dead
Infernal Death
Reign of Terror
Death By Metal

Everything else is gay.

toggletoggle post by Granny_Monster at Dec 18,2006 11:20am
I'm kinda suprised there aren't more Scream Bloody Gore advocates... that album is great!

toss up for me between symbolic and individual

toggletoggle post by Dwellingsickness at Dec 18,2006 3:31pm
Wasn't there already a thread like this? I could have sworn, but anyways, I like the first 3, with scream Bloody gore probably my favorite, after that I pretty much stopped listening to them, I am not into all that techy shit.

i think there was a thread like this a couple years ago

toggletoggle post by Dwellingsickness at Dec 18,2006 10:28pm
I remember now, it was not to long ago(few months maybe?), it was the thread about the anniversary of Chuck's death, and it turned into sort of a favorite death cd thread.
