I thought devil's champion needed a drummer.

yah, they still do. the flyer is out of date.

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Nov 20,2006 9:55pm

yeah, our drummer quit the day after they did all the flyers, fan-fucking-tastic-timing. Not that there's ever a good time for them to quit.....and not sure why the flyers never got updated. I blame McMahon

toggletoggle post by mcmahon  at Nov 21,2006 8:55am
don't blame me, wally!

i saw devilman at the show last weekend and i thought he said you found someone.....

toggletoggle post by awol  at Nov 21,2006 9:50am
Usually Devilman's full of shit, but he's right this time, found a new guy, getting him up to speed and converting him to the dark side. Doesn't help with this show, but we'll be playing out soon or I'm gonna kill someone

theres lots of bands, two stages, and beer to drink.

can't beat wireless

From the Shadows was on first. Singer had crazy highs. They were 80's metal. 'cookie-cutter hair metal'....good solos and bass, but predictable song structures.

PureNform was first on the second stage. Think Alice in Chains with Cliff Burton on bass.

PyAD bassist was hot. the heavy parts are good, but the singin has gotta go.

Reviewing bands is tough.

hah! try doing it for years...

toggletoggle post by mcmahon  at Nov 25,2006 8:51pm
its really busy. all kinds of new faces. i feel like im on a different planet.

toggletoggle post by mcmahon  at Nov 25,2006 8:53pm
Terror in the Midnight Sun is pretty good for a punk/rock/whatever band. The chick drummer jumped over her set onto the singer at one point. Good stuff. They are playing the inspector gadget intro now...

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Nov 25,2006 9:00pm
not enough good chick drummers.

toggletoggle post by mcmahon  at Nov 25,2006 9:02pm
there's definately more people than soulfly, jeff says 200. i can't be sure, im not good with math.

toggletoggle post by Dwellingsickness at Nov 26,2006 2:43am
How did this show go anyway?...That was a ton of bands. Did they all get decent set times?

toggletoggle post by mcmahon  at Nov 26,2006 2:30pm
the show was pretty good. everyone got around 35 minutes. secondface's singer was MIA so they were put on last for an instrumental set.
