i work security for a well known retailer and just the other day we recieved a package from Sony simply marked SONY PS.
not even putting 2 and 2 together, i opened that package up only to have to open two more protective packages up finally revealing a PS3 sans cables and controller. just the body. i then proceeded to put my nuts on it hoping that until then, no other man in this universe had put his nuts on a functioning playstation 3. that's my story, thanks for reading.
It is not true that no other man in the universe has gotten a functioning PS3. Magazines have received their review models and many retailers have received floor models (which is how your retailer acquired yours) for display upon release date, which is one week from today.
