Just to let everyone know the Reset Smith Rap Core reunion is 12/23/2010. hahaha. I used to "sing" in Reset Smith. Yeah we played some really bad music, i agree, i can't even listen to it. It's not just death and grind stuff that's like that, any form of extreme music on either side of the punk or metal spectrum is like that really. The differences seem to come in how much material a band will churn out, how they release it, and how quickly they start touring. Death and grind bands won't do any of that stuff as quickly, but they will spend more time writing good material and record it at a higher quality, should you be into that sort of thing.

Death Metal doesn't suck (its matter of taste ofcourse).
I just think that the scene is flooded with too many DM bands and therefore your gonna get alot generic shit.
I haven't been excited about a DM band in a long time.

There is alot of good death metal, and then there is that band Life at Zero.

Death metal is awesome. It has to do with the right band. Take behemoth of course, I think its the best death metal band out there.
