they are one band i never got into. i used to have Diatribes but i just didnt like it. the only song i ever really liked was "Twist the Knife Slowly" from the Mortal Kombat soundtrack because it sounds like Goro is singing.

'Scum' is cool but a little too lo-fi for me. The next couple of albums were great. Middle period ND has some good songs here and there but no great albums, IMO.

Order of the Leech was good, The Code is Red was better, and Smear Campaign is even better still. I havent bothered to listen to the cover albums.

I have a more controversial opinion:

I don't like Napalm Death. At all.

im all about the first 4 albums and from order of the leech on.

The last time I saw them they were rediculously good.

Actually yeah, middle Napalm Death (Utopia/Harmony Corruption) is the best, not new or old.

I don't like "Scum"; I hate the guitar sound on that one. "From Enslavement to Obliteration" is a great album, the John Peel Sessions were awesome, "Harmony Corruption" was really good as well, "Utopia Banished" was alright, and everything after that just never really did anything for me.

The lineup with Barney,Jesse(RIP),Shane,Mitch and Mick was ND's best.Far better than the one with Lee Doran on vocals.I dont like their first 2 albums at all.But when they play songs from them now live they sound killer.Barney>Lee

FETO is amazing.
Harmony Corruption/Utopia Banished/Death by Manipulation are my fav albums.
However I have a massive hardon for the cover albums. Those are hands down THE SHIT
