Sweet, I am getting tickets from you guys then,If you have them, I'll have to meet you somewhere
Whats so sweet about Skinless?
Where did I say anything was sweet about Skinless?, I was refering to the fact that my friend's band is on this show now, So I can get tickets from him
that's it?....just "good show"?. haha, Hey who won the costume contest anyways?, was it the giant penis?
Yah, a rough night. We went with Mortis Deveia over to Al from Devil's Champion's place til 4 or 5. Learned a shitload about brewing beers and laughed it up for quite a while.
The show went really well with all the bands. Carey and Bernie seemed happy with all the locals showing up on time and backlining accordingly. Skinless showed up late, but it didnt really make a difference since they their setup was fairly simple.
Supplication showed a lot of improvement since we played with them back at the bombshelter and up in laconia. Justin went up for a couple songs (he used to play with them). Todd and I agreed they could use a second guitarist to thicken things up.
I didnt catch much of either Psychotic Assault or Hollow Image. Caitlyn from Mortis Deveia was bought me beers at the bar, so my attention was drawn to the bottle and the scantily dressed chicks. Heretic Hybrid was well rested and had a tight set. Justin went up for their song Rise.
Todd came up on stage with us and we all had a good time despite the technical difficulties. Justin broke a string then had some trouble tuning, but tried to keep things interesting nonetheless. Some dude dressed as a giant cock came up on stage.
Mortis Deveia closed the night for the locals. I only caught half their set cause I was loading gear. We need to do more shows with them.
Skinless was intense. They
tried numerous times to start a pit. Bouncers quickly moved in and slowed things down. No one got thrown out that I know of. They also got their beers taken away from them on stage (you could see they were starting to get discouraged). They encouraged the 'zombie mosh' and some variation of the wall of death. At one point they invited everyone up front on stage for some headbang time. High energy shit. They are off to Austraila soon.
I'm not sure who walked home with the $1K. I was hoping it would be the giant cock or the leatherface dude. Only cause he brought in a real chainsaw into the club (chain removed).

Good thing REV was not there, I dont think I wanna see pics of me, being molested by a giant cock,But the singing was fun, Need to do that again soon. Don't think I will make it out to Mojito's though.
Supplication was great,They were way better than the BS days, that is for sure.
Psychotic assault was cool and hilarious, How can you go wrong with a guitarist named ,Liquid Shit?
Hollow Image...er I mean Korn was ok at best, Just not a good choice on Bernies part for that show, They'd fit better with Dope or something like that.
Heretic Hybrid was good, little to ummm hardcore/numetal at times for me, the bassist has some interesting moves onstage, not in a good way either
Mortis Deveia, I knew I recognized that guitar player from somewhere, what a musical change of direction from his old band,Harvester. Caitlin is amazing, It is a wonder she don't pass out from singing like that. Such a great band. Does anyone else think the bassist looks like "Stifler"?
Never say Never, guess ya had to be there haha
SKINLESS... My neck still hurts and I been poppin oxy's all day
