New site? Maybe some day.
I have an amp and randomly when I am playing it it will short out and cut the volume down seriously low but not too low. It's a 500 watt amp and when it cuts the volume randomly it ends up so that I can't even get my windows to shake any more even when I put it full blast, when before all it would take would be to put it on setting 2 |
i'm not sure this is a serious question, but the answer is probably bad caps. |
yeah, bad caps could be one reason, but we have nearly no info about the amp.
what make/model/year is the amp? tube or solid state?
right now in the game i couldnt tell you at all. |
well he said it's 500 watts, so i'm assuming it's solid state. also, by the "windows rattling" comment, i thought maybe it was a power amp for a car stereo. |
oh yeah lol, it could very well be a car stereo amp. fuck that then. |
I thaught fake post when I read it....
we need more details man. |
output transformer. Very expensive. Stop connecting your amp with the wrong cables.

Yeah you could, you were just too lazy to think about it.

It's a bass amp, crate brand, I forget the jargon name it has. I don't connect any wrong cables, I plug it in to the wall, plug my bass into the amp and play, I don't use any other crazy cables it's my practice amp. |
